Airplay mirroring to Apple TV2 with a Windows PC

I am looking for a native method or suggested program that will let me use Airplay mirroring to display a Windows desktop to Apple TV2.

Yep, just run the app and remote into your PC. Then double press the home button on your iPad> Swipe to the left and enable mirroring on your ATV.

At that point you have your desktop wirelessly streaming to your TV using your iPad mirroring to the ATV. Works beautifully for me for playing streaming video or audio content, [Icefilms, Tv-links.eu, Grooveshark....]

Also if you have an iPhone/Touch, Logitech's Touchmouse is a quite handy app to have to use to control the keyboard and mouse.

---------- EDIT ----------

Yep, you need to have jailbroken your iphone first. Then install Veency from Cydia. After that install VNC Viewer on your PC. Use VNC Viewer on your PC to connect using your iP4s IP address and the password you set for Veency.

Yeah... I already have VNC but I'm looking for something to mirror video from my iP4 to my pc just how airplay does on the 4S to apple TV. VNC won't mirror video.

Yeah, I'm using my iPad and the mirrored image on the TV does not fill the entire screen when using Splashtop. It's something with the app itself that hopefully will be resolved in an update. It seems hit or miss right now for me with whether an app will fill the entire TV screen when mirroring. Thankfully for now my TV has a Cinematic Zoom feature that allows me to increase the size a little bit with out any sacrifice to quality.

Also I have emailed Splashtop asking about that and whether or not it is something that can be fixed in an update. If I get a response I'll add it here.

good man...

i find pinching helps a little but would be good if full screen would be available, i thought changing the res on my laptop would help but it didnt do anything as splashtop decreases the size anyhow.

oh well i guess its a waiting game......

Found Aerodrom a few weeks ago. It doesn't do mirroring just yet (which I badly want for my RR2 needs) but the devs said they found a (legal) way to do it. And they try to implement it.

It does do video and photo streaming. Don't know how good audio is - the demo version doesn't do audio - but if it is as good as video, once they get mirroring in, I'll buy it in an instant.

So you got the video to work with the trial version?

I see the spinning wheel then get a video playback error message. Pictures work fine but not video.

Yes, it works with films from Photos (Camera Roll and imported), from Videos, from YouTube. The quality (video and audio) is on par with that of the files being played directly on computer.
Doesn't work with other video players I've tried (AVPlayer and GoodPlayer) even if the AirPlay button is visible. It might be limited in the demo.
No errors of any sort.

Mirror from iOS to PC

AirServer just released a Windows version. This software allows you to mirror your display from iOS device to your PC. A free version is also available on their website.
