Icon5 iPhone 3GS ALWAYS on Reboot loop HELP :-(

Hi I have an Iphone 3GS OS 4.2.1 with bb 6.15.00. Ever since I got on OS 4.2.1, it's been kinda buggy in a way that EVERY TIME my phone reboots, whether the battery runs out, or I reset the network settings, etc., it always gets stuck on reboot loop. I cannot SSH into it so even if it's caused by a cydia app, I won't be able to uninstall it manually. It's a good thing I kept my custom firmware for 4.2.1 so I am always able to restore my phone on bb 6.15.00.

So that's my question. Any idea why this reboot loop keeps happening each time I actually reboot my device? I'm getting really stressed with my phone going like that every time.

Is your iPhone Jailbroken? If so, did you install anything prior to this problem?
