Yup folks, the days of having to buy a Nokia phone to get ST service on the Iphone are over...if this news has been posted let me know and I will delete this thread, looked for it and couldn't find it.
Also, for those who would like an xtra/back up phone, the sim from the Nokia 6790 works with the iPhone as well and it sells on ST website for $50, so for $35 more than $15 sim card deal you get an extra phone, once again I speak from experience and activating for myself and customers, the 6790's sim does work for the iPhone the same way the E71's does. Straight Talk gives you TRUE 3G data speeds on the Iphone. PS. T-Who?
Payment options: You can recharge $45 on ST website or get the $45 card from Walmart store. Here in So Cal when I buy card off shelf from Walmart there is no tax and when I pay on ST website total is $45.95.
This may vary depending on where you live.
GSM/US/AT&T IPHONE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE UNLOCKED TO USE WITH STRAIGHT TALK
Locked or unlocked Iphone users that live in an AT&T coverage area, order the "AT&T Compatible Phone" regular or micro sim

I've posted a speedtest from Irvine on Iphone 4 ios 5.0.1, been running ST for over a year, no problem, UL DL speeds vary depending on location
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE, for those of you that didn't know, you CAN get data & mms on the 4s 5.1 with no jailbreak or unlockit profile installed...thank arcangelmk....sorry if it has been mentioned here by someone else, but I can confirm this working on my 4s

Should work just like the plan I use with the sim from the E71, I average about 1.5 to 3gb of data per month, but be careful, I've heard stories of them wacking people or sending warning for abusing...TRUE 3G data tho, I get between 1.5 & 3.xMbps downs depending on my location, no throttling, everything works, no unlock required, just make sure you get the correct sim when they release this! PS, I tether straight thru the iPhone's hot spot setting without a problem, I stream and any other data requiring task, the key is to not abuse it, I have never had to contact ST about anything, this is very great news for people with locked iPhones in an AT&T network area

What do u mean by the correct sim?
Is there certain Straight Talk sim cards that will work for this?
I mean, if I can just go into wal-mart or n e store that sells them and buy a cheap Straight Talk phone and just use the sim, that would be great.
Could ppl do it like that.

So I just buy the $14.99 sim card, pay $45 a month to get unlimited everything on my locked AT&T iPhone 4? So then I wont need to wait for 4.11.08 baseband to be unlocked in order to use my T-mobile sim card unless I get straight talk?

How are the 3G speeds compared to AT&T? Also, how is the service compared to AT&T or do they both use the same towers?
