I have a 4S and they throttled my speed down to 0.07 mbs
Would like to know if baseband 2.0.12 has to do with it and
Unlocking with gevey sim could solve it?

Gevey sim would be useless to you if you are using a ATT based iPhone and also from what I hear it does cause signal degradation. Also, they have been doing work to their towers in my area I know and for instance, at work I have 5 bars but slow as fuck speeds, but at home, without wifi, I pull pretty damned good speeds...

I was getting about 6-7 mbs for the first
month. And then suddenly 0.07 dont know what
to do

I did and they said everything is fine on their end,All may settings are the same didnt change a thing. Really frustrating cuz i email a lot

yeah same thing happend to me, used to if you went over they would just shut your data off until you called in, then the next month ur data would be right back as fast as it should be.
Im almost through a entire service month having been throttled this whole month and 2 weeks from the time before.
I though maybe it was my area but my friend brought his ST sim over and was getting great speeds with his phone and his sim card in my phone.
I called and told them and after 3 different times they finally sent me a new simcard.
STILL DIDNT WORK. So it seems like now if they throttle you then your throttled for good with that number i guess.
If anyone has had any luck getting it back please let me know.
Im tempted to just get a new sim card and new number.
Its bullshit on straight talks part.

Guys will be moving to US soon...so i won't be having SSN for couple of weeks. What are the documents that we to produce while buying the SIM? Will passport copy suffice?
What about the international calling? I see that they have $60 unlimited international calling. Which is fantastic! But i won't need unlimited international calling....are there any other packs for international calling? Can't we make even a single long distance without $60 pack?

FWIW after submitting a support ticket on facebook and a couple weeks' worth of back and forth emails with their support team, I have had my speeds reinstated to where they were prior to throttling.

In order for the port to go through you need an active number. Not in suspended state.

I ported my number two times, I was on AT&T with iPhone3Gs, purchased service with H20, and they did the rest, a few months later, Straight Talk came out with the $45 per month, unlimited talk, text, and data, so I signed up for ST, bought the SIM chip, and paid the $45.00, and about an hour later, my number was ported, and everything works ok.
