I'm using t-mobile on my unlocked iphone i bought reccently… You guys think i should switch to straight talk or keep tmobile :/?…. It kind of defeats the purpose of an unlocked iphone

I have been using ST on a 3gs for almost a year works great. Better than T-mobile about the same as At&t.

That's what I did almost a year ago. You'll get a true 3G service, nationwide superb coverage, better than T-Mo's.
Downside to ST is that their CS sucks ass. If you need anything done your best bet is their website. They can't even answer a simple question. For example I have 2 lines which I opened at the same time and have been paying for them always on time and together. All of a sudden one got shifted away with 3 days. If first line payment is due on the 16th second one is due on 19th. They couldn't give me an explanation why. Only assured me that my account is in good standing.
But...all unlimited for $45/30days - you can't beat that.
I guess you can't get the best CS and pay such a low price to unlimit your iPhone.
AT$T CS sucks too anyway...

I don't think it should matter if ur phone is unlocked or not.
This is a very good deal. I'm on t-mobile and I have used at&t service before so if ST is just as good as AT&T but a lot cheaper.
I'm adding to ST. I know for a fact that at&t data speeds or very good so I'm switching to ST to take advantage of their unlimited data.

do you still have to jailbreak to get the mms/pictures messaging to work????
i have set up iphones on ST for almost two years now,and the mms has never worked without jailbreak to activate pictures messaging

My micro sim arrives Monday. My contract with AT&T is up. If it works as you say I'm stoked.
Regarding the MMS - when you say activate pictures messaging - do you just mean use BiteSMS? Please explain what you install from Cydia. Thanks
Also, has anyone ever ported their number from AT&T. Does that delay anything much?
