Help- Low "in call" volume.

Hi guys !

my "up" volume rocker is broken
I can't adjust the in-call volume and it's stuck at about 35%.

I have already tried the volume widget for sbsettings (which works great for everything except changing the volume during the call (because i can't activate sbsettings during a call.)

I need help increasing the in call volume on my iphone.
maybe some programmers here can tell me in which file the volume settings are written ? so i can edit it, and change the current volume settings from 35% to 100%.

or maybe someone have another idea on how to increase the in-call volume without using the volume buttons.

thanks in advance !
love you all !

you should go to sbsettings>more>extras/options and enable in call launch, i hope that helps.

oh, i was too happy too fast ....
it doesn't really increase the "in call" volume.

for example: when I'm in a call, and i put it on speaker mode, the speaker volume is very low. (as it was before)
then even if i use sbsettings (as was told before) and i increase the volume, it is still remaining low!
(my "up" volume rocker is broken, but my "down" volume rocker is working)
so if i decrease the volume it shows that the volume was always down. (sbsettings didn't increase it)
it's like the sbsettings was not really effecting the in call volume at all.

the problem remains ! even with sbsettings: "sbsettings>more>extras/options and enable in call launch"
it doesn't affect the "in call" volume.

does anyone have any other idea how can i increase the call volume if i have broken volume rocker???
I'm sure I'm not the first person with a broken volume rocker....
what do other people do ????
please share with me !

I'm suffering with low volume in all my calls, without anyway to increase it.
its driving me crazy !!!
please help !!!!!!
how can i increase the volume during a call ?? , so i can hear the other person who I'm talking too.

Love you all !!!
Bella.

Check and see if there is a volume toggle add on for sbsettings and download it. That way it may give a slider like the dimmer one in sbsettings. you may try that. Hope that helps.

---------- EDIT ----------

try the ringer/silent toggle see if it does what you need.

---------- EDIT ----------

And the volume slider widget in cydia for sbsettings.

My up rocker is broken too but I noticed if I turn off the phone when I turn it back on the volume increases as if I was holding down the volume up button, this only stops trying to increase when I hit the volume down button. So to increase in-call volume I did this:

1) turn off iphone
2) turn on iphone
3) noticed the volume increasing by itself, DO NOT hit volume down!
4) open the phone app and call someone
5) the volume continues to increase and now it's increases the in-call volume

Hell of a workaround, but YAY! Also if I had a headset I bet I could increase it with that but I can't find mine.

I have the same problem with my 2g iphone. my up button for volume is broken.
In call, the volume is very low. I need a program or somethig to control the volume without buttons. I tried SB Volume Control Plugin but it dosen't work during call.

Another way is to use the down volume button (which is working) to increase the volume, but i need a program or a system hack to do this.

Please, I need help !

Sorry for my bad English and i wait for replay !

FIX!

ok so it sucks but it works! First youll need PocketRadio installed from the app store or cracked... Next install MonoBluetooth from Cydia... Make sure to have sbsettings installed. Turn on regular bluetooth and monobluetooth then open pocketradio.. Choose a channel and click on the bottomr right tab.. There should be a bluetooth looking icon beside the volume slider. Click the bluetooth icon and select iphone.. Then adjust the volume all the way up... This worked for me now i can actually hear when people are calling lol... Make sure to install and activate "disable volume rocker" from cydia after you do this so you dont accidentally turn it back down. Please Make sure to thank me below if this helped you!

Good luck guys!

hello

The easiest way to resolve your problem without adding any apps is,

1. Connect a call.
2. After call is connected open Settings -> sounds
3. Slide the volume slide back & forth and then to the max.
4. your call volume is now set to maximum without using the volume up botton.

Enjoy

use activator from cydia. After installing activator from cydia, Go to settings or click icon to open activator. Choose your preference to add custom gesture such for "anywhere" such as swiping up from bottom of screen. select increase volume up by one step option. You could set it to work by tapping the status bar. It will increase volume for all the volumes depending on the application your in. It increased the call volume while i making a call. This is the easiest way i think!
