Comprehensive recent app cracking tutorial?
Hi guys, I found an app I used to play and really loved it.
The app is no longer available on installous so I purchased it with the intent to crack and upload it to wherever and share it.
I cannot find a youtube video, a tutorial, or a forum post that isnt from 2009 or 2010.
Every piece of information seems to be out of date and no longer helpful, or simply the method does no work.
In this post I would like replies helpful in my goal to figure out how to crack and remove an app.
I have tried AppCrackr - multiple errors no matter what, app is useless.
I have tried ********** - rediculous errors, app is useless.
PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND UNLESS YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO THE ANSWER.
I have seen this same requested thread a few times on sinfuliphone and its nothing but useless replies like "uh derp just crack it first then upload it somewhere"
Ok, how do i crack it without those aforementioned tools?
What do i need?
Where do i get it?
Please everyone, I am reaching out here asking for help.
(Also, mods, if this is in the wrong section please move it for me, still relatively fresh on this site. thanks in advance!)

I think sinful has his "own" version called sinfulcrack download that open it and point it at the file and press crack ( i don't use sinfulcrack so I'm not sure on the exact steps but i'm sure itself explanatory)

Ah, yes! Thanks but...it turns out the repo needed sinfuliphonerepo.com cannot be added as a source!
I can't add it at least, and there is some talk of others with this problem as well...

Man, so its still down.
I don't understand how other people are able to upload stuff if that truly is THE ONLY way to do it.
I thought this site was a little more knowlegable about things like cracking apps...anyone prove me wrong here?
I know someone or a group of a TON of someone's know how to do it and are currently doing it...
Perhaps this is just a case of ignoring the requests of a new guy? Perhaps this site is on its way down? Not much activity any more? (except for kabilach) lol

Well, with cLackuRous (it wont allow me to post the word ********** for some reason, so...) I get this
"/var/root/documents/cracked/filename.ipa failed

Could be because it only allows uploading to
Fileape (which no longer exists) and
FileDude (Which "Uploading is currently unavailable.")
Well, with AppCrackr I get this error no matter the confi settings I use:

ALSO, I managed to sneak into the sinfuliphonerepo.com repo on my device and download the sinfulcrack, but it does not work
The specific problem with that one is that as soon as its opened it emediately closes, similarly to the white cydia icon app closing problem so many have reported.
Hopefully this refines the problem! Also clicking another thanks to you! ^ ^

Hmmm try a hard reboot (hold the power and home button) but then again missing dependencies would causing it to do the same

Well, simply rebooting under any method hasnt fixed it, im guessing its because the repo isnt 100% back yet....
I am so puzzled as to how people are STILL uploading new stuff though! HOW?! *cries like a real man
