Galileo or similar Offline Maps Application

I've been searching like crazy for a decent offline maps applications, Galileo looks promising I like the fact that you can use the mac to get maps with the mobile atlas creator, but that feature does not work in even in the cracked version.

So what other options do I have? Are there any other apps that support importing of maps, or any other that offer a good download experience for international maps.

Any help, suggestions are appreciated.

Have u tried MapsWithMe? It's detailed offline maps of all countries in the world, I wonder about their unique compression and rendering speed.

have you tried citymaps2go!? probably on of the best known offline map apps!
