TinyUmbrella Updated To v5.10.14 grabs BBTicket for iPhones & iPads with bb

Sorry for the multiple downloads in a short amount of time! I needed to be sure that the iPhone BBTicket stuff was working properly before I pushed out the iPad BBTicket stuff.

To get your BBTicket:

You need to have an iPhone4 or iPad 3G or newer (4, 4s, 4 CDMA, iPad 3G, iPad 2 3G, iPad 2 CDMA, iPad 3 GSM, iPad 3 CDMA)
Go to Advanced -> Check "Overwrite existing SHSH files on "Save SHSH"
Make sure "Request SHSH from Cydia" is UNCHECKED

Quote:
BBTickets and its Significance

The device bootloaders 2.8, 2.13 (baseband or firmware) generate a random number at the time of restoring the device which is sent to Apple en-route to iTunes. Then Apple sends the APTicket / BBTicket SHSH certificate with the number generated which is matched to the number generated on your iPhone. If both the number matches, iTunes prepares the matched certificate and stitches the blobs to the firmware. If the SHSH blobs don’t match the restore process fails and the bootloaders reject the certificate.

iPhone users on iOS 5.1 Build 9B176, who seeks to unlock their device in future, should download the newest TinyUmbrella 5.10.14 and save their SHSH blobs with (APTickets/BBTickets) right away. These backed up tickets will come handy in event of downgrading the baseband after a new software update is released. Without saving baseband signing ticket, downgrade to old ipsw won’t be possible and, you will not be able to restore your device to your desired firmware version and baseband (IPSW file) using iTunes
Download:
TinyUmbrella [OSX]
TinyUmbrella [WIN]

It doesn't start up for me for some reason.
Whenever I click it the little loading bar pops up, then nothing.
Any idea what to do?

It didn't work, it looked like it was going to, it ran through everything on the loading bar, but then it still never came up. When I go to processes it shows it is running, but the window never comes up. :\

Delete the .shsh folder (Backup first) [Close tiny first !]

also delete all files from temp

Here's How:

Click on Start and then Run.

In the text box in the Run window, type %Temp% and click OK. A folder full of files and other folders will appear.

and run tiny again!

For Windows 7 users when you download the TU file, first right click on it, properties, unblock it, and set compatibility with windows xp sp3.
Then run TU as Administrator.

Always works for me ! Hope it helps someone

See if you have the latest version of java on your system, that may be the cause.

I was sure that updating java would do the trick.

Is you Pc on a network or home PC, beacuse @work i couldn't get TU to start also.
it always freezes when loading.
@home everything works fine

Hope you find some way to fix your problem.

I'm all out of solutions.
