if you're in the USA just call AT&T they are unlocking iphones for those who ask very very nicely and convincingly lol. i tried to unlock four iphones on friday...... it was a no go. lucky i had the number to call and start the process. the unlock codes hopefully will be emailed by tuesday.

Can the original poster please put an UPDATE on the first post with details of Apple fixing this exploit so people stop posting that it doesnt work, cuz we know it doesnt work... they dont tho

Been using iDevices since the original iPhone, been jailbreaking them since the beginning, but since there's so much time in between jailreaks/new devices/tweaks to fool around with, I decided to take things to the next level... iTools is what you need! iTunes is what you need to UNINSTALL!!! iTools does what iTunes does and a hell of a lot more... Don't just copy music TO your iDevice, copy your iDevice music to your computer. Also has some great features for jailbroken users!

This method does not work anymore. Apple has patched the system.
There really should be a thread on the front page stating that this does not work anymore, so people do not attempt to try this not knowing it will never work.

gevey sucks ? but it works tho
are you saying this because you have to manually dial 112, or you're mad because u came too late to unlock it via SAM.
PS- there is a mod, where you dont have to dial 112 iOS 5.x - 5.0.1

112 isnt an issue. The main prob is my push doesnt work after upgrading to 5.0.1 with gevey

Use SAM to deactivate your phone
Plug it into itunes
Tada push will work!

1. SAM is a program on Cydia, not a person
2. This unlocked worked on all carriers that exact same way
3. The unlock no longer works
