iphone 4, no ring, no volume

hi, i have an iphone 4, sometime there was no ring tone, but it vibrate
the volume up and down sometime work and sometime not. sometime suddenly it works perfect. i tried to restore the phone, still the same. anybody have the problem like this?

Make sure the connector port is clean. dirt in there can make the phone think its plugged into a doc thus removing the volume up/down control on phone.

Next time the volume buttons are not working try plugging in the headphones and adjusting the volume on the headphone cord. Report back the results here.

My friend's IP4 has the same problem. Reboot the device solved

This happened to me once, and I freaked out thinking I would have to restore the phone. Finally a couple hours later it crossed my mind to reboot the device... and what do you know, problem solved :/ lol
