Good! It's nice to see everyone is enjoying siri! Note: NO NEED to boot tether If you installed rainstone's you have to restore. I use the sinfuliphone siri server. And the speed feels just like a 4S!

Yeah it's nice. I'm just contemplating whether or not it's worth the memory issues. I hate having like 100MB+ of RAM wasted due to Siri :/

It seems okay not that much lag but NOTE THAT THIS IS THE IPOD AND IPHONE VERSION! If you have an iPad wait for that one to be cracked.

this doesnt work on ipt4. absinthe 5.11 stuck on booting screen.......restore.

biggest waste of time. Waited all that time for it to insatll and after it finished.... it freezes on the apple logo

Hi everyone. I installed Spite 3.0 and the option Siri now appears in my iPhone 4, but I have a problem. When I try to enable Siri, the phone always comes back to home screen. When I check if it works, the Siri is disabled again. Is anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Thank you.

dude try restoring, then jailbreak then install. If all goes well restore from backup.

Now I got it to work too. Don't know if it's cuz I used Absinthe 2.0.2 this time or what... but it rebooted. So half done i guess...

Ok... got it setup and tested it out and it's working pretty good. The day wasn't a complete waste

Now I wonder what ppl say about uninstalling it is true

BTW... I never installed the Spite fix thingy and everything seems to be fine. What does that fix do?

Doesn't need to be cracked. Someone can post the deb file for the iPad version. It's douche to pirate from the guy but honestly I think he's kind of a douche himself.

That's the site that it actually downloads the cache from (be it iPhone/iPod or iPad version). If you want I can built it into a deb because it pretty much mirrors Spire's debian installer.

Regardless, I might make my own version of Spite since this memory issue is really bugging me. I wanna see if I can find a way to have it to be able to boot untethered without hogging all of this memory. I know the tethered version doesn't take nearly as much memory as the untethered version.

siri is working nice and fast

So what I did twice was jailbreak and downloaded cydia apps and tweaks. Then I d/l spite 3.0. Do u think because I did thT first, it might have froze on the apple? I'll try your steps when I get home

The fix pack is nonlonger needed as s26tech packed it up with the new spite! BTW Siri is lighting fast like a 4S in dictation she can type how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood in less than 3 secs!!!

what repo did u get spite 3.0 from? mine froze again on the apple, It is the 206B
Now I am going to try with absinthe 2.0.2. install cydia then spite 3.0 reebot and see what happens.

this is the repo: repo.biteyourapple.net
if you have an iPad do not install as this isn't the ipad version. The iPad version still needs to be cracked

thats the one i used, i have a iphone 4 cdma (verizon) on 9b206, i restored, jailbreak untetherd with absinthe 2.0.1 and downloaded spite 3.0 from bite myapple and got stuck on the apple logo twice.
so as we speak i am jailbrealking with absinthe 2.0.2 and re-trying.
lets see what happens

I'm having the exact same problem like you. I'm trying to install sprite on a 3gs and it froze on the apple screen. I've been trying for 3 times already and all failed. I used absintehe 2.0.1. and 2.0.2 with no success.

I just read another thread on here and it said
Restore ,then jailbreak and install spite 3.0 , then after all that do the restore back up. im trying it now.

looks like I am stuck on the apple logo again.
