cydia and ifile problems

hi, when i try to open cydia or ifile, it sometimes crashes and takes 3 or 4 attempts to open it. once or twice it took about 10 attempts to open it. is there a way to fix this? Also, lately cydia is taking ages to load and reload data, it takes about 3 times as long as it did a couple of weeks ago, and its been getting slightly slower every day, is there a way to fix this? thanks in advance for help.
