WinSCP Timing Out

I searched a bit, but couldn't find any threads on this. If it is a common thread, plz delete.
I have jb iPhone 2g with 3.1.2 and WinSCP v 4.2.7(758). Just wondering if there is an option to keep the connection open longer, it seems to time out with inactivity. Looked through the settings, but didn't really find anything. If anyone knows how to keep the connection open, please tell

my connection used to drop when the phone auto-lock feature enabled.

If i ssh with winscp I turn off the auto-lock feature and it stays connected.

Yeh, I have the auto lock disabled. It has been like this for the last 3 version of WinSCP I've had.

Just installed WinSCP 4.2.5, same thing happens. Sometimes too when I try to connect it have to open SBSettings and toggle ssh on/off/on again for it to connect

i have to toggle it off and on also but check in options/preferences and see if it looks like this... this was the only setting that might be giving you trouble automatic reconnect

My settings do look like that in "Preferences" but I just found these options on the main screen when you start up WinSCP. you have to check the "Advanced Options" box. I am testing now

---------- EDIT ----------

Ok, I stayed connected for 16:04 before I manually disconnected. Even stayed on during a respring. Got rid of a pesky misspelled cydia source as well.

The timeout thing only happens when using WinSCP with WiFi. It's better to use iSutal and then run WinSCP with your USB Cable connected. Not only will you not time out but you will transfer files a whole lot faster as well.

If you lack enemies, you're not doing something worthwhile!
