Iphone Hardware Help

I recently bought an iphone 3gs 32 GB for 100$ because it is blocked/stolen (imei), i already have an iphone 3gs 32GB, but it's tethered where as the blocked on isn't tethered, so i was wondering what part on the motherboard is the for the imei, if i change it, then i'll have a jailbroken untethered iphone. i've searched everywhere, on google, countless forums with no luck.

Please help me out, i am sick of always having to connect the iphone to the pc and reboot it, especially when im at school, i'm forced to wait the whole day, sometimes i miss calls...

lol dude your looking at needing to buy the entire motherboard, your not gonna just find the certain IMEI chip that you need and be able to replace it so you might as well just start looking for the entire motherboard which is gonna run you a couple hundred bucks at least.

Sell the blocked logic board abroard via eBay and then buy another one from abroad with the proceeds, that way they both get reused.
Jailbreak once you have fitted the new board.
