[3GS] Got a lil problem..

So i got my hands on a 16GB 3GS iPhone, and the first problem is coming around the corner - i got a ''KPN'' sim card so i cant activate it, i tryed to jailbreak it but that didnt work so i restored it with the orginal ''latest'' firmware.. anyone got some tips for me so i can use my other network & active it?!?

u cant use other networks with 3.1.3 theres no unlock for it!

I cant put it in recovery and put other firmware on it?

meh i dont know, it wasnt activated and when i connected it to the computer/iTunes it sayed sim isnt compatible for activation - i did see that firmware was on ''latest''

But .. lets say.. the phone came with an vodafone contract.. and i seem to have a conract with vodafone aswell i can use my own (vodafone) sim to acivate it etc.? correct? or does it works with prepaid aswell? from the same provider..
