itunes error 1002
Hello, can't restore my iphone 3g, getting itunes error 1002 any experience with this?

What u using a stock or a customfirmware ??
Try to de/and reinstall itunes ,maybe u nees to make a new useraccount in windows and install itunes in this accoount and try to restore ..

I'm trying to restore to 3.1.3 with stockfirmware...
Seems like the phone is the problem, restore process starts normally, but in the end instead of the "verifying software or installation process" I get this error and and phone is entering restore mode again!

if i remember i'll check at work tomorrow and see the specifics on that error... i have access to all internal apple documentation... and in ts1275 i know there are a bunch of internal only answers.. i'll post back tomorrrow if i remember

So what did U do about error 1002 issue.
Ma Iphone frozed, no signal, no Wi-Fi, and from that moment on, I can't restore my Iphone 
I tried on 3 diffrent computert to restore, older PC with XP x86, newer PC with WIN 7, and MAC with brand new OS

I did.
I use RecBoot on a mac to kick it out from recovery mode,does not work on Windows
