easy. use iFile to go into the stocks app and copy that icon, and replace the isteamy one with that one.

it would look like there are two stocks apps but one would still say isteamy. use winterboard to hide all the icon names, or use rename II in cydia, although I dont know if it works with iOS4 yet.

you can also hide apps with poof in sbsettings

You can also, create a folder and like that the app will be inside of the folder and pretty much invisible. Name the folder what you like

If you want to get advanced, this can be done. Go to iSteamy's directory (iSteamy.app). Find "info.plist". Now look for this:

Code:
[key]CFBundleDispalyName[/key]
[string]iStreamy[/string]
and change it to

Code:
[key]CFBundleDisplayName[/key]
[string]Stocks[/string]
replace [] with <>, because <> doesn't show up for some reason on forums :/

edit: I just posted a tutorial for this in the HowTo section, waiting for mod approval
Got a question? PM me

stuff:
iPod Touch 4G on 4.2.1 (8C148), jailbroken with Greenpois0n
iPhone 3G running Android Gingerbread :P

Happy to say all of my iOS apps are legitimately paid for

Here is how I would do it:

1. Get "Poof!" (in Cydia) to hide the original stocks icon,
2. If you have Winterboard(Cydia), don't modify iSteamy, but SSH or iFunBox into "/Library/Themes" and make a new folder, name it whatever you want, just remember what you named it! Put a new folder in it, "Bundles", and in that put a new folder named the same as iSteamy's app folder. Copy the Info.plist and icon.png here, modify away!

And now you have a stocks app no one would ever think to look in

(I use Winterboard for this stuff so i don't have to backup the whole app, just copy what I want to change, and that way If I manage to somehow screw up, mobilesubstrate will let me fix the problem)

I hide my apps by creating a category with no name, giving it a blank icon, filling it with the apps I want hidden and poof them, and then I use iBlanks to put it down a bit on a half-empty page.
Is what happens when you upgrade firmware...
