Safe for iTunes 9.2?

So I've read some threads...just wondering if it's safe for installing iTunes 9.2 as my iPad is Spirit jailbroken. Thoughts? Thanks all.

My understanding is that if you are already jailbroken with Spirit - you should be fine with iTunes 9.2.

However, you should NOT attempt to use the Spirit jailbreak tool to jailbreak a new device while running iTunes 9.2 - that is where the problem is.

Device already jailbroken = 9.2 ok
Perform Spirit jailbreak = 9.2 NOT ok

Anyone - please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here - this is my understanding of the Spirit / iTunes 9.2 issue. I sync with iTunes 9.2 daily from my Spirit-jailbroken iPad. I just did the jailbreak on another computer running an older version of iTunes.

ummmm I think u got it wrong. U are among those who dont experience problems with spirit and itunes and 9.2. Thing is that the exploit in spirit and itunes 9.2 have a conflict. It is not safe, there is a nnew spirit fix tho. That works around this problem. If u use that one, u should be fine. But the original spirit and itunes 9.2 are a no go.

true, there was update of spirit shortly after, dont seem to be having any probs

when was the update how long ago? want tl sheak. isthere ayway i can tell i stil have the spirit on my pc.whixh bersion is safe?

I don't have any problems syncing my jailbroken ipod touch 2g, iphone 2g and 3gs, and ipad with itunes 9.2

But I did JB my ipad on my other computer running itunes 9.1.

wow u have a lot of devices. keen on selling old iphone by any chance lol. which version on spirit did u use i.m trying to geta confimation from spirits creator which is rather difficult.

my mistake.... im still running itune 9.1 and ipad jailbroken so no probs... read reviews about 9.2 and spirit jailbreak... so didnt chance it

I have ordered my iPhone 4- not yet released in Denmark.

I used the old version of Spirit to jailbreak my iPad on my MacBook, running itunes 9.1, and I sync it on my i7 iMac running iTunes 9.2
