Same thing happened to my Cydia, been a week since i last went online with Cydia and i noticed that it is empty, all my repo are gone, but still i have my apps intact just cant see it in Cydia. i Did Delete the delete everything var/lib/apt/list then delete everything except partial folder , but still no go..

I will try one more time, if not will do a clean restore

that happened to my cydia sometimes just a refresh and you good to go, no reboot just hit refresh.

Yeah, in all probability the steps and measures mentioned above should resolve the problem. Worst case scenario is that you have to sync your music and apps, as well as backup all of your packages to a free Rock account before restoring your device and then retrieving them once more. (I'll admit is is a bit extensive, but eh it worked for me haha).

I did all of the above except reinstalling... most of my sources are ok, it's just some sources that are empty in Cydia. I tried to delete the files var/lib/apt/list with no success, still empty. I also tried to uninstall the source and reinstall it, still empty.

The source just install itself again with a blank listing in Cydia for that specific source... there must be something else to delete to make it forget about that source...

http://www.sinfuliphonerepo.com is actually one of the 2 sources that does that on my iPhone.

Sometimes when you add the same source twice it will do this so first delete everything in the private/var/lib/apt/lists but the partial folder then go to private/etc/apt/sources.d.listsand remove the offending repos reboot respring.

So I'm having the same thing on 4.2.1, testing the new jailbreak Monte method. Thing were working fine and I installed a few things from cydia but then got the blank lists and everything. My one issue is it happened before I could install openssh. (note to self: install that first next time). It's not a big deal as I can restore if I have to, but I'm trying to use the redsn0w install bundle option using the sshv2 tar from the dev tram blog. It runs, buy no ssh installs. Any ideas?

me too, my saved shsh are not showing, nor the version of cydia...im sure it probably just has something to do with the server. Doubt it's anything to be very alarmed about.

Same here, nothing showing in packages, sources or changes. I tried deleting everything in var/lib/apt/list except the partial folder and rebooted and still nothing. I'm just going to wait it out and check back tomorrow.
