How To Convert .app to .ipa.

1. Create a folder called Payload
2. Place the .app folder inside of that
3. Zip up the Payload folder using normal compression
4. Then rename the file with a .ipa extension

*Note: If you want the app's artwork to appear in I-Tunes, you need to place a file called iTunesArtwork (make sure there are NO extensions) into the zip file on the same level as the Payload folder. Not inside of it. It is actually a .jpeg file of a 512x512 image that will apear in I-Tunes. This is not mandatory, but there just wont be an icon for the app in I-Tunes.
Gone..

Cant it also be done with d-Tunes?

Click "edit" in the top right corner and double tap on the the file you wish to be converted, but more directly instead of having to create a .zip file?

Can a process like this be used to duplicate an App Store Application? I would like to duplicate the FaceBook app. There is a tut on here about duplication of app, but that is not the rite way. That only duplicates some games. Anyone. I have been looking for a way to do for a good while now. I have successfully created the duplicate FB app, but it will not open. It's just there and cannot be used.

Anyone here know how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
