Getting white icons after installing an app

I was just wondering if anybody else is having this problem, and if there is a fix for it. Every time I install an application from Cydia or Installous (to sample an app before I buy of course) I get these weird white icons and I also get the Nike plus icon and a SBSettings icons on my springboard. If you tap on them they do nothing. To get rid of them I just respring and their gone. Anybody having this problem and is there a fix for it. Thanks everyone!!!

haha lol demo app is there! Demo app is just a random app located in var/stash! it does absolutely nothing and shouldnt even be there! just respring (SBSettings and click respring). If that doesnt work open winterboard, select a theme and deselect it again (then respring).

I believe I can actually change things, and I work that way.

Weird, no matter what I try my icons turn white and I have to re-install my theme to get them back, any ideas on what I could be doing wrong here?

I actually had this problem on my brothers jailbroken ipod tough 3g. Thing was, the white icons were there even after respringing, even weirder they were apps he owned from the app store. Including the netflix app he just downloaded. I just deleted them and reinstalled them through the app store and the icons are back as of now. This happened to about 6 different apps.

Install com.chpwn.iconsupport in Cydia and this should fix the problem.

I believe I can actually change things, and I work that way.

In Cydia, go to Manage, Settings and tap 'Developer'. Then you should find it

Well I find iconsupport thank you, but how weird is this. I download iconsupport then respring & when it turns back on I find that all the apps are thrown out of my folders & I still have the same white icons. Thanks for the help that I have received but nothing has worked & it is driving me crazy.

I tried a respring & reboot & I still have white app icons on a handfull of apps
