Installous Version for PC
Hi all, newbie here. My question, what's the Installous equivalent for PC? My iPod 2G WiFi kept on disconnecting whenever I want to download via Installous. Thus, looking for downloader equivalent for PC and transfer it later on to iPod. Thanks for helping.

all that installous does is give you the ability to search and download, while you can search this forum and download what ever you want, almost most apps are here, installous is just to save time from downloading then transferring then installing on device.

use Firefox and goto http://apptrackr.org/
download what you're looking for then install thru itunes when you're ready.

as said above, download the app you want through apptrackr.org then drag and drop the ipa file into itunes then sync.

hey, go on google and type 'appcake' the first link is the one. itll be in chinese or something but there is a button which says 'English' ontop to translate. its great i use it all the time.

apptrackr and click on the .ipa's you download they'll jump into itunes

the reason why the wifi keeps disconnecting like that is because apple never figured that iPhone, iPod touch, & iPad users would be downloading files that would take longer to download than 30 min

I need Installous kind of application for windows just for one thing, to trackupdates on the applications in apptrackr. When applications are few hundred in your itunes library it is kind of hard to track the latest versions. So installous for windows will be a great helper.

again people are not understanding the question in the first post.
we all know is is very easy to get the ipa files from a website and install through itunes, however what we are looking for in this post is an application that can check the version of ipa files we have in itunes against apptrackr or other websites apps and tell us if there is an update for it available.
new updates come out for apps in itunes everyday and when you have over 100apps it becomes a quite waste of time to search around for updates.

apptrack is actually a website.. Search apptrack in google will give you link to the website. It contains all the apps for free..
