iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch Announced!

Apple has just announced iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. It will be available in November of this year as a free update for all. Because of hardware limitations, not all the features will be available for all the iOS devices.



Some of the features of iOS 4.2 for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch as mentioned by Steve Jobs at the Keynote are as follows:

* Supports iPad (with Multitasking)
* Wireless printing
* AirPlay and AirTunes

iOS 4.1 on the other hand will be available for free next week for iPhone 4, 3GS, 3G and iPod touch.

Apple today has released iTunes 10 for both Windows and Mac OS X. This is a major release which brings lots of new feature to one of the most popular software around. Some of these features are highlighted below.

iPod touch 4G Gets Retina Display, FaceTime, Gyroscope, HD Video Recording

Apple has just announced the next-gen iPod touch. As expected, this upgrade is a huge one for iPod touch fans ! It is powered by the all new Apple A4 chip, will feature iPhone 4 like Retina Display, a front-facing cam for FaceTime calls, a camera on the back for HD video recording, and Gyroscope.



It will go on sale starting from next week. Pre-orders begins today !

Prices: 8GB model for $229, 32GB for $299, and 64GB for $399.

New Apple TV 2010 Unveiled. No iOS Makes it a No Game Changer.

Apple has just announced the all new Apple TV. This new 2010 version of Apple TV is only one fourth the size of the original, and it comes in black matte finish. It supports HDMI output, 802.11 WiFi-N and optical audio. There is no local storage here, Apple TV completely depends on the cloud for streaming media content. Apart from iTunes, you will be able to access Netflix, YouTube, Flickr and MobileMe services right from the comfort of your couch.



If you were expecting iOS to come to the big screen, you will be disappointed. While the hardware looks sexy and all, no iOS and no iOS apps for the big screen will be a deal breaker for many.

Apple TV is not a game changer as it was previously thought. All it does is what the competitors have been doing for years. PlayStation, Xbox and Windows Media Center boxes can all rent and stream music, videos and TV content from their respective stores. But it is that $99 price point here which in my opinion will make it a success.

Pre-orders for these little boxes starts today! Apple will start shipping the new Apple TV in about four weeks from now.

iPod nano 6G with Multi-touch Screen and iPod shuffle Announced

Apple has completely redesigned both the iPod nano and iPod shuffle for their fall 2010 iPod lineup. iPod nano gains multi-touch functionality, new lighter and smaller square’ish design, and at the same time loses video camera which was only introduced last year. iPod shuffle on the other hand has got all the buttons back, with a new large battery which gives up to 15 hours.



The new iPod nano comes in seven different colors and is priced at: $149 for the 8GB model and $179 for the 16GB. While iPod shuffle comes in five different colors and is priced at $49. You can pre-order them now via the online Apple Store.

am i the only one who thinks a touch screen that small (nano) is just you know, retarded, i mean seriously :L ipod touch looks nice and we finally get freaking buttons on the shuffle again :L. i cant help but think apple must have some good shit planned for the iphone5 cause its not very apple lke to let the iphone and ipod touch get to close if ya know what i mean

and no your not. In away I think the nano is gay but good because i hate big crap like the i touch or nano in my pocket. my iphone gets me annoyed when I have to figure out where buttons are.

Yea i will do that i have an ipod 3g but this looks better with the new A4 chip and the cameras

They know exactly(Apple) that JB for 4.1 is ready. And what is easier to cut this way in 10 for the noobs?

it will FOR SURE NOT BE SAFE FOR CURRENT JAILBREAKS! but will be for the next update IMO! that's why keep a copy of itunes 9.2.1 installer so no one say: MY LIFE IS USELESS NOW!
