Straight Talk for the iPhone

I've been searching for the answer of a possibility of using a straight talk sim card on the iphone. i have a 2G that is unlocked and jailbroken and im running OS 3.1.1 and i put a straight talk sim card into it and it searched for several mins, then said no service, but if i go under settings and to phone, it shows the number on the sim card as my number. It appears that it too is the wrong type of sim card, and T-Mobile is a million times better than at&t but, not as inexpensive as straight talk, or another prepaid. anyone have any info?

Is your straight talk sim already loaded with minutes? Seen this b4 with another pre-paid sim but it didn't have any minutes.

The idiots at ST keep telling me that their phones do not have sim cards .
i have the samsung t255G , which does have a sim card .
They then told me that the phone is tied to the sim card or vice versa and could not be unlocked . Anything that has a lock can be unlocked , so does anybody know how i can unlock my sim card . I want to use it in my iphone 3g .
Dont have the money to get the Noka e71 which is sooo easy to use in iphone . Have set up 6 iphones to use the e71 sim for friends .
Funny how ST told me they dont use sim cards , then told me their sim cards are tied to the phones .. LOL

I've had ST on my i4 for about a month now. Everything works amazingly except for one glitchy thing. Every now and then when I'm streaming over 3G (which is technically against their ToS) the network boots me and I get stuck at the "Slide for emergency" screen. Then after a few reboots it resolves itself. Anyone else have this issue?

suicidedeathpact....that is an issue with your iphone, not straight talk...trying restoring your iphone with itunes and it should fix your problem...been using st for 4 months without a single problem on my iphone 4

I have ip 3g the easy way to do this is go to Cydia d/l tetherme then d/l the ST mobileconfig file from the other site listed above in post 34 edit the info.plist file thats in the carrier bundle to 8.1 and and use itunes to install the mobileconfig file and reboot and the mms should work fine,i didnt need the tether option and that would probly get you boot out of ST if your data use was to much.I just wish I could install a 3.5" screen on my E71 because it does alot more than my 3G on ios 4.2.1 ,, But I am thinking of buying 1 of the new unlock Iphone 4 that aplle is selling but you dont need to have your phone unlocked to make this work,I guess it's over kill.
