Need some help with baseband

My phone messed up a few days ago it was on 4.0.1fw 1.59.00 bb so I tried to restore it but I couldn't get it to work with tiny ubrella the first time.

I gave up and installed 4.1 firmware and then successfully downgraded to 4.0.1. What I didn't realise is now my basband is 2.10.04 is there a way to DOWNGRADE THE BASEBAND
To make it clear I'm not too worried about the jailbreak as much as the unlock so any help would be appreciated.

There is no way of downgrading the baseband. There is a thread on the main page on upgrading to 4.1 but maintaining the 1.59.00 modem firmware. Let's just hope the new unlock will work on the new one.

past that point now but im trying to restore to 4.0.2 maby it will downgrade the baseband* only problem is i get itunes error 1004

Baseband cannot be downgraded

Your only option is to get the unlock for a fee from your carrier....and that too is upto their discretion if they want to issue you the unlock code.
