Is there a cydia package that only shows the battery percentage and not the battery icon in the status bar? I used to have one on 2.x or something, before the option came available to turn it on in settings, but all I want is the percentage shown, not the percentage and the icon. Im running an iphone 4 on 4.0.0.
You'll have to wait Sorry dude Battery Control is what you're looking for. But its for 3.x only. I was in same boat as you. Downgraded my 3g. Now its sweet.

iOS4 device need winterboard to do this Using photoshop you can whip up a few blank png and theme it or even easier in cydia search for battery hide or something

Yup, you are correct. Not sure why everyone is talking about battery control and sbsettings.
"Hide Battery on Statusbar" from the default Cydia source repo, ModMyi.

An app called Bolt was designed to do this and only this. When charging your device, a lightening bolt is displayed (may be turn off-able but not sure). Worked great on my iPhone 4 on 4.3.3.
