Jailbreak iOS 4.1 iPhone 4, 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPad with GreenPois0n [How to Guide]

Hi,
As probably with you, it took me an hour to acquire the Cydia icon after jailbreaking with Greenpoison. That was because there was a white "loader" icon on the desktop instead. I finally opened this mysterious white icon and then installed Cydia from inside it. Now, i have that beautiful Cydia icon that I used to find ultrasnow and then unlock.

I JB'd with Greenpoison and about 3 weeks later my iphone exploded [not really] but it glitched and i had to recover to 4.2... geay... but i dont blame it on Greenpoison

i'm soo confused.

1. what version of GreenPois0n can work to jailbreak iOS 4.1?
2. when i go to greenpois0n.com, there's only one version available for download and that's RC6.1, the latest, as of this post; question is can it jailbreak iOS 4.1? (i'm well aware it can jailbreak iOS 4.2.1)

i'm on iOS 4.1. i jailbroke with greenpois0n RC6.1. issue: loader doesn't open/load. ??

i restored to iOS 4.1 (official ipsw) again and jailbroke with GreenPois0n RC6.1.

still, loader icon on springboard after jailbreak doesn't open.

what gives..?!

instead of RC6.1, i jailbroke using RC4 instead.

loader opens/launches.

loader now opens. but cannot install cydia!!!

just run redsnow the last one and then browse the ios4.1 and then check install cydia and that's it
it will startup and untetherd

Had the same problem with "loader" app from Greenpois0n RC6.1

So jailbroke with LimeRa1n-worked fine.

Even deleted "loader" app AFTER LimeRa1n.

My iphone 4 got stuck at "green poison initializing" many times but randomnly it went through using the latest version of the software of course. Thanks!
