VLC player just got updated. it supports more codecs (for now). i believe with displayout and resupported(4) through Cydia it can do video out too.

Framerate won't be the same. Cinexplayer's built-in TVOUT is better in comparison

It's also compatible with ipt3/3Gs, but the tv out feature is only for i4/ipt4
