Extend the lockscreen timeout?

Can the timeout of the lockscreen be extended? I have the Weather Elements app loaded and 10 seconds is not enuf time to read all the info on the lockscreen as it turns the screen off after the timeout.

Also, I have a timeout set on the phone so that it locks after X minutes of not being used, but can the iPhone be configured so that when it is on charge that the screen stays on always?

Theres a tweak in cydia for that, its called 20 second lock screen,

or to go for longer theres also 60 second lock screen.

For the other question, im not sure, maybe do it manually in settings, bit of a chore every time though.
