Hi this will be probably an stupid question but I'm really want to know if this is possible and how can I do it? Right now I have a 3GS 4.1 baseband 05.04 and is already jailbreaked and I have a lot apps on my iphone but I want to unlock it to use with tmobile but is possible to just to update de baseband to 6.15 and run ultrasn0w without to reinstall the iOS 4.1 again and lose my apps and star over again installing everything back. Thanks again and I sorry for my stupid question but is the only way to learn

Anyone having issues with iTunes at the "Preparing iPhone for restore" screen? Im on that screen for about 15 minutes and then get the 1604 error?

as far as i know if u restore using DFu mode then u will not get any error.........

but still i did not try and still downloading the hactivated firmware for 3gs 16g
