you use redsnow 9.6b6 point to official 4.2.1 and check "enter pwnd dfu mode"

shift + restore custom 4.2.1

or use ireb 4.0-4.2 rc3 put in pwnd dfu then

shift + restore custom 4.2.1

fairly new to this whole thing, but have a old 3g here that was given to me for my sister thats stuck in recovery mode loop and no matter what i try im getting a 1015 error............

anyone got a simple to download and use custom 4.2.1 ipsw file???
just need to get this thing up and running again as she is without a phone till i get this working

Hey guys, i have an iphone 3g version 3.1.3 unlock for tmo bb 05.12.01. But would like to go to 4.2.1. Which one should i used to jailbreak and unlock without changing the baseband, btw i'm using window xp. Thanks!

How about custom firmware 5.0.1 on a iPhone 4 baseband 02.10.04 firmware 4.1. I have tried to cook my own but message saying " memory exhausted" I'm on window xp service pack 2. Thanks!
