need VOIP with Google Voice over Edge, please help |

need VOIP with Google Voice over Edge, please help
I have an Phone 3G which is unlocked and jailbroken with ipad baseband and iOS 4.2.1
I have a tmobile sim card that doesn't have txting or internet but DOES have unlimited data! I can send and receive txt messages with Google Voice iPhone App and Push notifications works, and obviously internet works over Edge, so I'm only missing ability to make and receive phone calls with my iPhone.
Is there an app out there that I could use to make and receive free phone calls over the Edge network using my Google Voice number?

Have you looked in cydia at; Phone GV+ Extension. I believe that's what it's called, it might answer your question.

GV+ doesn't let you actually place calls. I've installed Talkatone and it works for what I want EXCEPT it doesn't receive incoming calls unless the application is in the foreground? Once again I'm on an iPhone 3G with iOS 4.2.1 and multitasking enabled.
How do I get talkatone to ring my iPhone when my google voice number is called when talkatone isn't running on the foreground?

You need Phone GV extension in cydia. Thats what rmax67 was talking about I thank. Anyway its a paid app atm but im sure you could do some diggin and find it free.

Phone GV Extension is ok but doesnt allow calls over wifi and costs money!
Go to App Store and download Talkatone!!!! Its free and allows wifi calling with your Google Voice!!!!!
