Nm, I fixed it. On my old number for the mmsc wahtever setting on the top, I used epc.tmobile.com whereas my new number only works on wap.tmobile.com...Thanks for your help and your site kicks ass! Later

the way i see it if worked for someone for one day or for what ever amount of time and now it has stoped working,for me "IT DONT WORK" you can keep trying all you want,but the truth is if att dont turn it on "IT WONT WORK"

EXACTLY!!! No matter how much you try if AT&T didn't turn it on IT'S NOT GOING TO WORK PERIOD!

Hopefully only one more month and NO ONE will have to worry anymore

You should consider editing your thread and posting that this will not work with AT&T.

i have att and i read before this doesnt work for att coustomers but if i d/l the swirrly mms2.1.3 crack if i use the data setup like u have on the how to. will that work does anyone know im gonna try ill post update on the outcome

But that's not entirely true because I have AT&T and MMS works fine for me. But I am one of the few people who called AT&T over a year ago and got WAP PUSH enabled on my account which allowed me to get MMS on my phone way back when SwirlyMMS first came out.

So as stated before IT CAN work on AT&T, IF THEY HAVE ENABLED IT ON YOUR ACCOUNT.

What does WAP PUSH do?

Is it being able to receive MMS on your phone? Because when I put my sim card in my old phone I can get MMS messages. Am I still missing something?

Yes when AT&T enables WAP PUSH on your account it will allow you to send/receive MMS. That's how it worked before 3.0FW came out. But now I have been told that AT&T employees have been given STRICT instructions NOT TO ENABLE MMS or ANYTHING of the sort on customers phones until they resolve all their issues.

The reason why your able to send/receive MMS on your old phone is because the network recognizes that it's not an iPhone and reverts to your old phones settings. But with your iPhone being latched to that data plan/iPhone account and not having MMS/WAP PUSH enabled is where your having issues.

Like I said hopefully only another month and everything will be resolved. Hell it's been over 2 years now what's one more month lol. You can call and thank AT&T & Crapple for being douchebags and not having MMS in the first place.

ok , my situation is this, installed on my jailbroken unlocked to tmo 3g. celldata apn is internet2,and mms is wap.voicestream. Works perfectly.

tried this on my nephews 2g jailbroken and unlocked to tmo. cell data sticks but mms apn not sticking. comes up blank everytime,also under celldata i should have 3 diff things like my 3g. celldata,vvmail,and mms. 2g only shows celldata and mms. any help would be appreciated.

Why are you trying to change the APN's?

You probably need to goto Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and then try changing the APN's again.

Also you don't need to post over and over again and blow up my PM box. That kinda shit will get your ass banned!

changing apn for mms cause the epc one dont work. so am trying to use wap like the settings on my 3g.

my bad homeboy. didnt knw i was blowing you up with 2 pms. also its my 1st time. wasnt sure if messages or post went thru. didnt see at 1st. wont happen again.

yeah i did the network reset 1st then after reboot change apn for both data being internet2.voicestream and mms being wap.voicestream. but mms apn didnt stick but data stayed the same. So i tried network reset,after reboot went into celldata reset then reboot. both data and mms apn change to epc.tmo. mms worked , but now when i go on safari it takes me to a page were it tells me i need to change data,but its for att. am with tmo.shit is wierd. is there another way without a comp or if the only option is to ftp and change it, how do i go about doing this. am good with instructions so if you got something, slide it thru.

if you are with att and you dont care much about cracked apps or Cydia, then all you need is the update to get mms,but if your like the rest of the world, (no pun intended) then yes, Jailbreak is to unlock,and to get cydia,and cracked apps.
