@hakonerider: I too have followed your steps perfectly, and my AT&T 3.1.2 iPhone 2G will hang on send for close to three to four minutes, and I think the MMS picture will send, but it does not. I get the Red Exclamation mark! Thank you for your time, and I hope us 2G users can get our MMS working on the AT&T network. Should We try to install Supreme Preferences? Thanks!

Or if it doesn't work for you. I need feedback to figure out the problem.

I followed that walkthrough step by step and the MMS still hangs at 95% and fails. I think the one thing you mentioned was that you're using Enable MMS ver 1.0 and I noticed that ver 1.1 is what I have installed.
I wonder if there's any way to get the 1.0 version again.

I have asked myself the same thing. I need SinfulSS to answer that question.
Anybody willing to ask?
---------- EDIT ----------
Btw, I tried messing with and uninstalling Supreme Preferences 3.0 and, sadly, MMS still worked. Supreme Preferences is definitely not gonna help , I think.

I want to upgrade to 3.1.2, but I do depend on Visual Voicemail and tethering a lot. VMM and tethering works for me on 3.0.2. But a lot of apps I have been using have been updated for 3.1+ only So I want to update.
I noticed the line:
"Also be advised that the VisualVoiceMail settings WILL NOT SHOW UP if you are on 3.1.2 FW and your settings will look like this for AT&T."
Even though the settings for VMM do not show up, does VMM still work? Are you still getting new voicemail alerts?
In the past, there was one carrier update that I did for tethering where VMM did not work for me and I had no way on getting alerts that I have a voicemail. I recently updated to AT&T 6.0 and it works tethering and VMM on 3.0.2 and tethering and VMM works on that.

I have 3.1.2 installed and Voicemail alerts still work for me. I do have the MMS for 2g hack installed, and tethering hack installed as well. Even though the MMS is not currently working for me, my VisualVoiceMail still does. Hope this helps.

As I mentioned before, I have all of the requisite options and settings but, alas, no-go.
I blame it on AT&T and I do appreciate your perseverance. If there is anything I can do to help add information to your endeavor please let me know.

Yeah I'm not sure what I need exactly. I've been installing and uninstalling packages to see if anything breaks my MMS (indicating that it's a helping factor by getting MMS to work).
Hopefully I'll have an answer pretty soon
Which version of "Enable MMS for 2G" do you have, btw? 1.0 or 1.1?

i am a noob on the site and have been doing a ton of reading of a lot of threads. I have a 2G Iphone on AT&T network with 5.6 carrier version. I have done the jailbrake and downloaded the MMS hack. I am also getting the 90% send before I get the dreaded exclamation point when sending an MMS. I have come to the conclusion that AT&T is blocking the MMS from sending. The only way around this is to do the SIM card swap with a different phone then bringing the card back to the iPhone, but it appears that the account change only sticks for a short period until the account is updated back to show it has an iPhone. Seems the only real option is calling AT&T and getting them to enable the MMS push?
