Is there a way to just manually do MMS instead of downloading and installing Cydia? I have FW 3.2.1 and used blackrain RC3 to unlock it to use with t-mobile.

Funny thing is, Javascript running in the background is what usually drains batteries. I doubt this patch has any Javascript

I've been reading about a lot of peoples problems on here throughout this thread..
Do I have to do anything special if I have AT&T on firmware 3.1.2? Just install Enable Tethering for 3G and away I go? I don't want to mess with any APN's or have it mess up my settings!
anyone?

hi, I have a 2G running 3.0OS on tmobile with basic unlimited data plan, it took me a while to get MMS and internet to work but with research I finally got my MMS and internet to work perfect, with help from sinful, I had to load a new plist carrier file via SSH to get the internet APN: internet2.voicestream.com and MMS APN wap.voicestream.com to stick. I have had these settings and today it was working fine until I got out of the gym and all of a sudden I cannot connect to the internet. MMS is working fine.
Does anyone now whatsup with this, maybe its just Tmobile let me know thanks

Add Newly Detected Network Device

You also have to add the newly detected network device to your computer. When you connect via USBin Vista with tethering turned on, you should get a pop-up window stating that it detected a new network device.
|
To add the "network device" on Mac OS X, I had to go to System Preferences / Network / Create a new service / Interface: iPhone USB.
After that, everything worked great. I am using it to type this out!

i was using the original ActivateMMS2G that was available on cydia (not from sinful) and i got HUGE battery drain. just recently decided to try out 3.1.2 and decided to go back to using swirley for my mms. i'm loving having good battery life again, but miss the native mms feature. can anyone tell me if battery life is any better with the sinful versions of this hack? or more specifically if the 3.1.2 2G version is any better on battery life?

Hi guys ,
I was hoping to see if any of you can help me.
I was experiencing battery problems ( battery drainage to be specific ) and decided to update to

My phone is the 2g and everything worked well besides the battery . I know that many suggested not to update but I thought it was safe since it came from the DEV TEAM. ( 2g Iphone with t-mobile service ) Need help with MMS
Please help
Thanks in advance

Can someone write what the t-mobile settings are so that I can enter them in myself so I can use MMS. I have a 3GS with blackrain installed running OS 3.1.2. No cydia, nor do I want to install it on my phone, I have been issues with it on my phone so I decided to not use cydia right now.
