Uhm I read the post on the TinyUmbrella website here The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
And while it is nice to assume we would not need saved SHSH blobs to restore to older firmware. Nothing is said saying that will be the plan.
I for one will not get my hopes that high until it is announced.
But on the flip side just restoring without iTunes would rock.

That's strangely odd cus I have an iPhone 4 and it works great for me. Although I do like my 3GS but the speed on the 3GS is not comparable to the i4.

the only thing I like on the iphone 4 is retina and ram, as everything else is the same other wise. To me when testing both the 3GS and iphone 4. data for the iphone 4 is slowly than on the 3GS, not to mention the drop calls without a case and I don't like phone cases, I can't use the phone with my hand as my face hangs up calls, I don't like the black color and like white, I can use 3.1.3 again and use the cydia apps I used the most when I was on there, as 4.0 is still having problems with apps I use to use. The iphone 4 is good, but if I like something I just stick to it. but yeah, I'm wasting space talking about this. We should be happy that tiny umbrella might help a lot of users
