No WiFi after upgrading to 4.2.1

Dear All,

here is the issue, I have upgraded to iOS 4.2.1 plus the iPad base band. It was working fine, I was using cydia installing apps etc. Then after installing ultrans0w the wifi worked for a while and stopped.
I have downgraded to 3.1.3 yet no WiFi.
Now I am at 4.1 yet no wifi.

I guess it is a hardware problem, and my WiFi is dead or may be there are solutions to it?

Put your iphone in freezer for 10 minutes and reboot

I have googled it before trying, yet it did not work for me.

Iclown do you have a video.Maybe your wifi chips was damage during flashing of the baseband.Are you now on baseband 6.15

I guess so. Because I even tried the most absurd options like putting my iPhone into a freezer. Software like cyder for Windows would have made my life easier))) The damaged WiFi chip is what I was thinking of yet I am open for experiments.

Try it out, it's a trick that use to work on the good old iPhone 2g.
I have the same problem though, and the freezer didn't work for me.

Did tried the freezer method on my Ipod touch....work the first time very well but after a couple months went dead again.....doesn't work after the first time it's a one time fix......
