Where Cydia apps are stored
Is there a way to use iFunbox or a SSH program to copy an app from Cydia that is already on my iPod to my desktop? Where would that be located and what would I copy?
I want to do this because people are asking for apps and instead of saying "Add this repo...." I just want to give the download link for that specific app.

I think they are only stored until the app is installed, then its deleted by cydia. I think you will have a small window of opportunity to extract it from your device, as its installing.
But i dont know where from.

if you use sbsettings you can go to more and the go down to folders and select what application you want installed on your phone and it will tell you where it is located

I think they are temporarily stored here /var/cache/apt/archives
:because as djmelee mentioned, after installation the debs are deleted. Therefore connect your device to computer, then open up your favorite ssh application, while cydia install the deb file and before your respring just navigate to the location mentioned above.
Good Luck

I haven't used it in a while, but I think Cyder 2 is still an option. You add sources and download debs to your PC. It's like Cydia for your desktop.

I personally don't see the problem in just saying "ad this repo and install *****" (Re: the new rules)

Well if someone wants a specific app and you give them a whole repo, not only will that slow down Cydia, but there could be stuff in that repo that they do not need. Just seems simpler to give the actual deb.

WOW. Didn't know a program like this existed!! Will defanitly be using it in the future. Anyways, I downloaded a deb from Cyder (Not Cydia) and placed in the AutoInstall folder. The app installed perfectly on mine but want to see of it works on your guyses iDevices too:
fakepower_1.2.deb
The app is called FakePower and it is a pointless app that can make it look as if your battery is about to die or you are in restore mode. Not a fancy app, just wanted to see if it will install and open correctly.
