guys help me or the iphone is gonna die...please please....

frenz............i direly need ur help here.

’m struggling with the unlock of my iphone 3gs. i bought this from a dealer in india and it was unlocked with version 3.1.1 and i upgraded to 3.1.2. while upgrading i did not insert the sim and after upgrading im getting this picture. Even after installing Blacksnow RC3 i’m getting same emergency call message with USB icon & Itune icon on the iphone screen.

i think i made some mistake while upgrading it to 3.1.2. All i want to do now is to first hactivate the iphone then jailbreak n unlocking it through blacksnow.

In my itune i’m getting message that your sim is not supported n all that blah blah message. I have downloaded the custom firmware for 3.1.2 and now i want to restore it. Anyone's help is highly appreciated if you can able to guide with restoration of my iphone with custom firmware n get my iphone hactivated.

and the baseband version is 05.11.07

i guess i had to insert only a at-t sim card right...but then wat do i do to make my iphone work now? i dont have any sim wid me tat could activate my phone.

You're gonna need to put the phone in DFU mode and restore to custom hacktivated firmware and use blackra1n

and where do i get the custom ipsw files?

will this link help in downloading the custom ipsw files? i just googled and came up with them.

ok..thanks a lot. and should i have my airtel sim inserted while doing the upgrade? or should i remove it. kindly bear wid me...i know how frustrating its to deal with nubes. ..and after the upgrade how do i unlock or jailbreak?

no need to use custom firmware, all you do is restore your phone to the 3.1.2 official firmware from apple, after that run blackra1n RC3 , install blacksn0w and put your sim in to activate the phone

download blackra1n from blackweather connect your iphone shutdown itune and click on make it rain ,

your phone will be jaibroken after that install cydia and snow.

hey guys..n now i m having a cydia problem. have looked up all the possible youtube videos and deleted the repolists and stuff. still cydia now working. is it advisable to rejailbreak and install cydia from scratch. and where do i find the latest cydia package. i tried the one in saurik deb files but it was not installing.

after installing cydia, open it it will automatically propose you to upgrade it.
if you have any problem you can uninstall it from the same icon you install it and install it back again.
you can also use Rock application it's like cydia.
