NEED HELP On installous!!

Pls help me how to install my apps(ipa) that i downloaded in apptrackr.org..

my iOS is 3.1.3 (7E18)...
ifunbox version is: ifunbox v1.2.0418.0416

The problem is that the files that i copied thru to the installous via ifunbox is not installing in my iphone... whenever i click install in installous in my iphone the msg says like this..
Installation failed: Error Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=2 UserInfo=0x2cf190
"Operation could not be completed. No such file or Directory"

It happens on all the applications that i downloaded.. please do help me pls on how to install it.. thanks...

first of all, what installous are you using? also, do you have the correct version of appsync installed?

hackulo.us OR other repo = if you installed installous through hackulo.us then it installed the correct appsync for you.

if you ssh apps into your device, they need to be in the following directory = private >>> var >>> mobile >>> documents >>> installous >>> downloads

well, it sounds like either you downloaded bad apps or you got a bad installation. so try this -

uninstall your installous AND your appsync. reboot the phone. not re-spring, but reboot.

then, reinstall installous from cydia.hackulo.us. then it should re-install appsync as well. reboot your phone. open installous, click settings, and make sure it says sync with itunes. after that, open iTunes, click a free app from the appstore, and sync. then, find a(n) app post by mr widow or another reputable member, ssh it into the proper directory as shown in my above post, and try installing that.

also be careful of some of the repo's you add to cydia. i added one (1) the other day, that tried to upgrade my installous.

i dont know how to use SSH.. i only know is ifunbox sir.. how can I do it using ifunbox???

using ifunbox is ssh'ing. just use ifunbox to put the apps / games into the installous downloads directory.

also i guess i should have inquired earlier about this, your profile says iPhone 2g / ios 3.1.3. if that is correct, you need to make sure that the software you are installing is actually compatible with your iPhone / firmware as there is a big difference between 3.x and 4.x. primarily concerning directory structures.

alright, try this. try downloading a small app through installous. then see if it installs. of course, i can't remember if 2g's have wifi capabilities. and i know mobile internet in the phillipines is expensive with smart / globe.

question - did you create the download directory, or did you click downloads in installous, and it created the directory.

it has wifi sir..but i cant wifi right know because i dont have a wifi router.. i did'nt create the folders when i ssh it there was already that folder.. yes sir mobile internet here is expensive..hehe

ok, 1 last thing you can try. try a hard-reset as maybe your phone is having a shit fit. hold down the power and home button till phone shuts off. then turn the phone back on. it should take longer to boot up, as its going to check the files in the os for errors and correct them if needed. it is recommended to do that 2 times.

i have had to hard-reset my phone like that before, when screwing around with cydia apps or bad program installs.

if all of that doesn't work, then you may have no choice but to restore / re-install your firmware, and set your phone up as new. but that should be a last resort.

when i hard-reset my phone will still be jailbreak right?? and no files or apps will be delete???

it will still be jailbroken. just hold the power button / home button till it turns off. then turn it back on. do it 2 times. but as i said, it will take longer than usual to turn on(ie - show home / lock screen).

but if that doesn't work, and installous wont install files that you download through it, you might have no choice but to redo your phone. but like i said, that's a last resort.

are you 100% sure that the programs your installing are ios 3.1.3 compatible?

Sir I have already fix my installous problem..
What I did was I add the sinfuliphone repo on my cydia source.. unistall the previous appsync3.1 that was on my phone.. then replace it with the appsync3.1.x on the sinful repo.. and i also installed the installous3.. then its like magic.. its ok again..
