My dad got it unlocked at some shop or whatever but these are the details:

Something out of that list might be giving you conflict. Sounds like the iEdit since you said you did it on other phones before, but your phone is on 4.2.1, so it might not be updated for that firmware or even 4.0. Don't quote me on that though

While in Safe Mode, go in Cydia and remove any app you installed before it started crashing.
Imports are like tampons, every pussy's got one...

No, it started crashing before I downloaded iEdit. Downloaded iEdit last night, Springboard has been crashing since Thursday which is the day I got the phone.
I guess I'm just gonna have to take it back to the place and see what's up. Thanks though.

Why don't just delete some stuff from cydia. Delete only the things that were downloaded, not the stuff that was already on the phone. Chances are something is not working right on 4.2.1.

Hi Grace

My iphone does the same thing if I download an app, I press the On/Off (Power Button) until the Red "Slide to Power Off" dongle appears, slide it across wait till screen goes blank, then hold the ON/Off button till apple logo appears and then phone reboots....Works for me...
