and your font color, it is tough to read.

anyway do you have multitasking turned off?

there is a tweak to get rid of it but if you like using it then make sure you are not running a bunch of apps at once that will slow your shit down.

if that is not the problem then it might just be the area you are in.

how much available memory do you have? mine is usually around 250-300

Thanks to x73x for my sig and avi

Dude, check this thread of mine from when I upgraded to the iPhone 4.

http://www.sinfuliphone.com/showthread.php?t=31901

After multiple tests it turned out to be the most unlikely thing! The microsim was dodgey! When they sent me a new sim my 3G was better than ever!

speed vary depend on your location, I tested it out in different area on 3G network, range from 300Kbps to 3.1Mbps download, upload is 100Kbps to 1.5Mbps

The SIM card does play big roll, I have switched the SIM twice, once I noticed the same location I tested has low speed, you can go to ATT store and run the test from their location, then you can tell how good the speed

D/L the speedtest app to run the test

I would say that if your GF has same phone and same carrier and the speed is different, either the SIM or the phone is not working. I would put my money on the SIM.

If you are both on the same network and same phone, try switching SIM cards to do a test, if the sim is faulty, she should get slow speed and yours should be fast like she was getting.

If that happens all you need to do is ask for a new sim, they should not be a charge for this.

Let us know how it goes,

Regards
