06.15 gps temporary fix

Hello,

follow those steps to bring GPS to life:

If any of you have spare nokia or any other S60 device with internal GPS simply dowload
ExtGps from here:
http://www.joiku.com/index.php?actio...product_id=351

It will allow you to share your GPS via BT
another oiption is to buy external BT GPS ~20$

Now to the Iphone part:

download BTstack from Cydia, (5$,could not find any cracked version of it)

now simply enable your BT and pair your devices using BTstack and ExtGps.

Worked great for me with Iphone 3GS iOS4.1 BB 06.15 and Nokia E72

We appreciate the post... but, I thought you had a REAL alternative solution that didn't include to buy new hardware.
bye bye!

Another option

We had already had the TomTom mounts in each car for charging and gps, after my unlock to 6.15, the GPS will still functions in the mount and Keeps the phone charged as well.

I'm still hoping for a fix.

if you have s60 with decent screen & GPS, why don't use it as full function GPS ? there is a Garmin XT 5.0 for s60 everywhere on the net which IMHO perform fast and accurate... worse Nokia gives detail maps for free . you just need to thinker a bit to get free voice turn by turn. and give your iphone a lil break time..

Works perfectly using BTstack GPS or RoqyGPS, although both of them aren't free.

I am very sceptical on the promise of the 06.15 baseband downgrade.
It had been months since MuscleNerd made his claim, and nothing materialize.
Can't he just be honest and admit he can't do it.

So that we could move on and wont linger around for some hope.
