Is there a way to see if you saved your ShSh Blobs in Cydia? I am not sure if I did the save or not and I am wondering if there is a way to verify this before I try a Jailbreak.

download tiny umbrella and the newest version of java.

then run tiny umbrella and hook up your device, there will be an icon that says "display saved shsh blobs" or something like that.

cydia is not the best way to find out which ones you have saved because sometimes saurik does not display them on the home screen for various reasons.

besides you will need to tiny umbrella to restore to an older firmware anyway so just get it.

It should say at the top of cydia on the main page what if any SHSH blobs you have saved in green letters.

but as i said it doesnt always say the blobs you have saved because saurik takes them off the main page to save space.

tiny umbrella is the best way but yes usually cydia shows your saved blobs

I haven't ever noticed them not showing up. The only time I noticed that they are not there is when cydia get an error. Although I have a 3GS form Canada and it's not hooked up to any carrier but it always says that my are pending. Good to know that tiny umbrella to check. You can backup with out tiny umbrella but you have to change your host file. I Tried tiny umbrella but I couldn't get it to work though. I thank it was a settings issue on my mac.

On some people, it shows on Cydia main page while it doesn't for others. The only way to tell fore sure is to use TinyUmbrella. Not sure why it isn't working on your's
