Fix All Greenpois0n RC5 Untethered iOS 4.2.1 Jailbreak Bugs Errors Issues

I get the error message "There is a problem with the configuration of your iPhone. Please restore with iTunes and reinstall iBooks."
My issue on ipad/iphone4 4.2.1 jailbroken with greenpoison now i cant read any purchased books all other files are fine in ibooks ie my pdf's and other non DRM books but the ones i paid for are not working just the restore with itunes and re-install ibooks error ive deleted and re installed ibooks from app store and deleted and reloaded books from ibooks still not working

This is a known issue and the Chronic Dev Team is looking into it. Greenpois0n does indeed prevent DRM protected books from being read in iBooks

i have tried about 20 to 30 times over the past 4 days with green poison...I tried 3 different computers, running greenpoison as administrator, and re-downloading greenpoison 3 times to make sure it wasn`t just an old version...

I am running 4.2.1 on 3g


was really happy with my 3.1.3 jailbroken phone before...sigh....


I am now doing a complete restore on my iphone (ahem...AGAIN) to see if that was somehow the problem...

timing was done to the millisecond with greenpoison.
I even tried doing everything 1 second EARLY, and again one second LATE....just to see if my timing was off somehow.... no dice.


any ideas anyone?

On a 3G iphone on 4.2.1 you would use redsn0w, you are not tether. On a 3GS, iphone4, ipad,ipod touch 3rd & 4gen on 4.2.1 you can use Greenpois0n for untether jailbreak.

I was getting failed message on my MAC and found out I need a internet connection for it to work.

I am having 2 issues....one is that after installing ibooks application, and when i try to open the book, i get an error message "configuration problem. Please restore your iphone through itunes"...next problem is that at times my my home button doesn't respond when its in locked status...

Also i noted that double tapping takes about 3 seconds to respond...anyone facing the same issue??

iBooks now fixed by downloading and installing the honeypot.deb file posted by comex and its working fine on iPad and iPhone 4 v4.21 and greenpoison

greenpois0nRC6.1 works GREAT, I dunno why people are having problems I've restored my iphone and re-installed gp several times now, both RC5 & 6
