Installing a app in ifile

I have downloaded a few ipa files that are rar compressed after extraction in ifile I cannot get the extracted file to install because the file is split into it's various subfiles not one extracted ipa can anyone help thanks

I didn't know ifile installed ipas. Use ifile to move it the correct location and I think you have to use appcake or install0us.

That is what I do when D/Ling IPA's on my phone. I use iFile to move the files to the correct directory.

install0us 2.5: /var/mobile/Downloads
old install0us: /var/mobile/library/Downloads
SDM: /var/mobile/library/Downloads

Just move them to where they need to go, open install0us and install.

but the thing here is that he does not have the ipa file. he only has mutiple files of whatever (he did not specify '"split into it's various subfiles not one extracted ipa")

i think the only only he could get the ipa is through a computer.. with the appropriate program. winrar winzip stuffit expander or the likes.

then once he gets it.. he can do what you are suggesting.. installing with installous or appcake

ahh yes, that is probably true. What are you DLin' that is Zip'd? Must be a huge file huh?

I'll try extracting on pc I just thought that I could do this thro Ifile to get to the ipa

move your ipas to var/mobile/downloads then installous will install them for you.

I had a similar problem trying to install a gps app, I think Navigon's although it might have been Magellan, which was a very large file, broken up into multiple chunks. I remember doing it all eventually successfully through ifile, although it took quite a while to unzip the 1.5 gb file.

iFile manage to unrar/unzip as long as it's not password protected.

Download ipa file
Unzip it
Create a folder ex: nameofapphere.ipa
Then drag all of the stuff u got when you unzipped the .rar file
Now drag it to the folder where all of ur installous gamea go aftet downloading them
Now open up installous and install the ipa under the downloads section

I use safari download manager from the repo. After it downloads It will ask if you want to install it or open it in ifile. I just use install.

found this link solved it and was really easy to understand and it was the correct /downloads folder.

Use iTools
