iPhone 4 on Straight Talk OR AT&T?? Can it be done

I've been researching like crazy lately on this but keep hearing different things,
Can anyone confirm IF I can use my iPhone 4 on Straight Talk (in US) and most importantly HOW?

I've called ST & even ATT for info on their prepaid but ST says their sim is basically married to the phone it comes it...blah blah

ATT says I might be able to do prepaid unlimited tlk & txt plus 100MB for $80 but not guaranteed data will work blah blah

So back to my original question.
Can anyone confirm IF I can use my iPhone 4 on Straight Talk (in US) and most importantly HOW?

I tried my buddies straight talk sim in My 3GS and it just said searching but I think "Roller" would be the one to ask about the go-phone plans and how to make it work

I used Straight Talk unlimited everything on my iphone 4 4.2.1 everything works great! even FaceTime.

Did you have to buy the nokia phone for the sim or what was your method, I'm thinking about switching from go phone to straight talk...ahhh the beauty of having a no contract plans!!!

imei changing not going to work for ip4, just the olde 2nd gen i believe, and why would u need imei change anyway ? you still cant change ur ip4 ime to ime of nokia ST , even you could, you gotta scan the fone at cash regis to be able activate and open the line for you. 1option only buy the fone and sell to somewhere eise, by the way E71, 6790 is SL3 fone, which is hard to unlock but unlockable by ATF box and proper DESKTOP, so yes its unloackable but u gotta find th right person have the right tool, search for E71 SL3 unlock or 6790, these 2 modes are comp diff than regualr GSM model

I got my iphone 4 on 4.3 running on straight talk and I tethered it to my netbook, downloaded about 30gb the last 2 weeks....awesome and MY bill is only 45 a month...Everything works..facetime...

I just did it , I never had att before since it was too expensive but now ST unlimited plan on iphone4 is like having att but cheaper

my area has great att 3g service i always have full bars where my sprint blackberry tries to compete but can't.
5-6mbps down 1-2mbps up 3G speedtest

Straight talk will work on any idevices:

In order to get straight talk to work, you would have to make purchase of the straight talk phones nokia e71 and nokia 6970 at wal-mart only and activate it with straight talk, which comes with the correct sim card that is needed in order to work on your i4. cut the sim to a micro size and insert it into the i4 and your good to go, there are also steps in order to get the mms working and data working, but thats for me to know and for you to find out..."GOOGLE IS YOUR ANSWER"...theres no need to have it unlock, cause straight talk uses at&t network towers. here are some photos of my i4 running under straight talk. notice it says HOME as my network provider but i dunno thats just how it is, having straight talk on any i4....theres apps on cydia to change the carrier names, but thats on you, i could careless really.

$200 straight talk phone is the only way to do it.

Changing the IMEI will not work on a 2G iphone! At least it didnt for me.

been on st with iphone 4 for about a month now. Its great to pay cheaper but im sure missing tmobile. Att has weaker signal than tmobile over in nyc. Also if you work in wall st, you get no 3g... yes no 3g, random time you get it but 95% you dont.

Well what do you expect? Verzion's home base is right down the street from you. I'm pretty sure AT&T isn't gonna be the best in that area.

If you really need connection that badly in Wall Street, get a product called Cell Ranger. I have recommended that to customer's that live on one of the less inhabited islands here in Hawaii that didn't have any signal at all, now they have a working phone! Works for ANY phone using 800 or 1900Mhz frequency. I've heard of their demo at our local trade show by putting a cellphone into a box shielded from any signals not working at all and them sticking their Cell Ranger inside and actually getting signal bars and able to receive a call.

Just buy the $200 Nokia E71, activate/transfer your number, whatever you need to do. Cut the SIM and stick it into your iPhone4. Everything will work fine, you don't even need to unlock the phone. Little tweaking needed for MMS, lots of info on google. FT works well too.
Oh, and BTW, FUCK at$t.
