Installous 4 not working!

Ok so when i try to download an app from installous 4 a error pop up saying "Invalid IPA file" and im sure is a IPA file.Oh and another thing that i notice,example:
Angry Birds Rio is 13.1Mb and when i start downloading it start at 12.1Mb and when it finished downloading and start to install i get the error "Invalid IPA file".By the way i have appsync 4.0+ but i have a fake 4.2.1 firmware.HELP ME PLS I CANT DOWNLOAD OR UPDATE MY APPS

why not try other means?
itunes with appsync or iSpirit

try other available links for the app you're trying to get if available, happens to me almost all the time when installing multiple apps. and/or (dunno if it's possible) find out how to get the url from the installous and download it to your pc/mac and try to install it off-line. wish it helps

I had issues on one of my devices with installous 4 from the hackulous source, I deleted it and everything else from that source (appsync, etc) then installed installous 4 from the sinful source and it works fine now

I've always had issues with the Sinful source.
Thing to try.
~Restart your iDevice
~SSH into Installous, and into the download folder and check the permissions
~Make sure Appsync is installed for your current IOS version.
~reinstall Installous and Appsync
~install at least one app from the appstore if you have not already

go get applehackers ipa installious works good ver 4.4 can install it with itunes but make sure u have appsnc installed 1st

delete appsync and installous 4

and download it from official source (cydia.hack.ulo.us) (without dot between hack and ulo)

if u are installing(not downloading) two apps a time it will give u one of them invalid or even both

I'm also having problems when I hit search it says API ERROR source not found does any1 knows what's wrong??

That's a problem their end, not your device.

I had the same issue, I deleted appsync (it will delete installous too) then reinstalled installous through *******. Worked great after that, not sure what updated that messed it up.

Try downgrading to see if it fixes your problem. If so then there is something wrong with the one you got.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything I can think of if that is not an issue with cydia or installous my next move is to restore, what do u recomend?? by the way I'm still in 4.1 firmware I have not upgrade it pass that.

I would just add the installous repo. They've even stated that versions on other sites won't work very well. Also, if anyone knows an easier way to update than to go thorugh the tedious task of updating each time, or how to turn updating off completely, i'd appreicate it.

Not uninstall and reinstall. Try Downgrading your version of installous.

I figured it out ithappened to me if u have ******** repo appsync from ******** takes over installous appsync for some reason u lookup packages and appsync from ******** is there and I did not install I deleted ******** and uninstalled appsync which also uninstalled installous 4 and then rebooted then reinstalled installous with appsync from installous repo and fixed hit thanks if it helped
