one directory to rule them all

hi.
i wonder if anyone has ever tried to gather all the downloaded files in one place.
let me explain more clearly :
say, you have air sharing, and readdle pro, safari download manager, attachement saver, isteamy (yes, we know you have this one too !), the gba emulator, yourtube, and vlc4iphone. what these app have in common is that they handle physical files on the iphone,and the big issue is that they all put them in different places.
so i wonder if anyone has tried to create a user directory in /var/mobile, and make symbolic links to this folder, so i could use airsharing to add/remove gba games, downloaded files from safari, and easily view movies from youtube, isteamy, or videorecorderthingformymobile3gphone, and so on.
user directory, with documents, music and video subfolders, all in one place, and for all apps to see.

Nope, wouldn't happen. The firmware is already written to save files in certain locations for certain reasons. (So won't get deleted etc.)

What I can suggest you do is just move your content to one folder inside Var/Mobile/Media/MyStuff

That way when you wanna watch a vid you took, or see a pic you took, you can easily load it up in iFile. Other than that, your outta luck.
